Jakob Oftebro (1864) stars as the Swedish superspy in a new ten-part series inspired by the novels of author and journalist Jan Guillou, centering around the exploits of fictional superspy/nobleman/all-around badass Carl Gustaf Gilbert Hamilton. In the new series, Oftebro (the first Norwegian actor to play the Swedish agent) is joined by Krister Henriksson (Wallander), co-starring as Hamilton’s boss DG aka The Old Man.
