Jonathan Ross returns for a brand new series featuring some of the biggest names from film, TV, sport, comedy and music. His guests today are the legendary Sir David Attenborough, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in her first interview since getting married, fellow X Factor judge Mel B, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin star Steve Carell, whose latest role in drama Foxcatcher has him tipped for an Oscar nomination. Live music comes from chart-topping singer Paolo Nutini.

Jonathan welcomes more A-list stars to his fun-filled chat show. This week's guests are Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan, who is currently treading the boards in the West End revival of Speed-the-Plow, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who chats about his latest projects, outspoken ex-England football captain Rio Ferdinand, who discusses his career and recently released autobiography, and the always entertaining, often controversial comedian and actor Russell Brand, who returns for a chinwag with his former comedy sparring partner. Music this week comes from Irish group The Script, who recently celebrated their third UK number one album.

The host is joined by actress Keira Knightley - starring in Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game and romantic comedy Say When - quick-witted Have I Got News for You team captain Paul Merton and Welsh rugby hero Gareth Thomas. This week Jonathan welcomes top comedian Frank Skinner and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 stars Stanley Tucci and Natalie Dormer. There is music and chat from the outspoken princess of pop Lily Allen.

The host chats to Carey Mulligan - star of The Great Gatsby and An Education - fiery TV chef Gordon Ramsay, opera sensation Katherine Jenkins, talking about her new album, and comedy legend Michael Palin, soon to be appearing in supernatural thriller Remember Me on BBC One. Music comes courtesy of rock band Kasabian, performing their latest single Stevie.

The host is joined by comedian Lee Evans, who is currently on tour in the UK and Ireland, and another of today's leading stand-up stars, Jack Whitehall, known for his acting roles in Fresh Meat and Bad Education. Musician Noel Gallagher talks about his forthcoming second album with his band High Flying Birds, and there's music by Boyzone to mark the release of their new Motown collection Dublin to Detroit.

This week, Jonathan welcomes music legend Barry Manilow - for a chat and a performance, and talks to X-Men and Atonement star James McAvoy, TV and stand-up comedian Sarah Millican, and one of Britain's best loved presenters Phillip Schofield. Phillip is going to be broadcasting non-stop on ITV for 24 hours this coming Monday in aid of Text Santa.

The host is joined by outspoken Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, comedy actress Miranda Hart - star of Miranda and Call the Midwife - and actor Martin Freeman, who talks about the final film in the Hobbit trilogy, The Battle of the Five Armies. Former X Factor contestant Ella Henderson performs her latest single Yours, from her chart-topping debut album.

The host is joined by former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, opening up about a controversial year, actor and comedian James Corden, Mad Men's Jon Hamm, who stars in the Black Mirror Christmas special on Channel 4, and Celebrity Juice/Through the Keyhole funnyman Keith Lemon. Plus, music by singer-songwriter Paloma Faith.

Joining the host for this festive edition are Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams, talking about his new family comedy The Boy in the Dress, veteran actress Barbara Windsor, current F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and 8 Out of 10 Cats host Jimmy Carr.
